Moonshine Part 1He needed to find his gun. Sampson was weeping in the corner, sounding like a kettle that couldnt decide if it was boiled or not. The footsteps outside the door grew louder, each tap of the heel synchronising with his heartbeat and every click of the toes syncopated horribly as they loomed ever closer. Mike pulled his scarf across his mouth and his trilby down covering his eyes. Sampson followed suit by fearfully hiding his shaggy head behind his paws. The steps had ceased and a jingling of keys had commenced. Sampson whined his shrill cry quietly to his travelling companMoonshine Part 1
